The Open Vilnius District Cross Country Championships took place on November 14 in Nemenčinė, at the biathlon shooting range, organized by the Vilnius District Municipality's Culture, Sports and Tourism Department in collaboration with the Vilnius District Sports School. Athletes from various regions of Lithuania participated, and the youngest competitors raced in the 150 m "Olympic Hopes" run. After the finish, the children were awarded medals, and trophies were given to the best performers. The competition was held in different age groups, where participants had to cover distances ranging from 150 m to 5000 m.
