Resolution Run 2026 is a fast and flat 5K race taking place on New Year's Day, January 1, 2026, at 10:15 AM in the center of Galway. The route takes you through the city center, starting from Claddagh, crossing the Wolfe Tone Bridge, along Merchants Road and the Docks, returning via Grattan Road and the Prom, finishing quickly at South Park, near Nimmos Pier. This route passes by many of the city's most famous landmarks. The event is AAI certified.
