Race description
Kauno district running event 2026 is a traditional sports event held at a unique location in Kauno district - the square in front of the Old Zapyškis St. John the Baptist Church. The event promotes a healthy lifestyle and physical activity, bringing together running enthusiasts of various ages and abilities. Participants can choose from several distances, and the event organizers ensure a safe and technically prepared route as well as a pleasant atmosphere for all participants.

- 5 km route along a bicycle path from Zapyškis Church to the 'Vandenis' garden community and back
- 10 km route along a bicycle path from Zapyškis Church to Kačerginė and back through Palankiai, Prieplaukos, J. Janonis, Taikos, V. Mykolaičio-Putino, J. Zikaro streets and Liepų park
- Start and finish at the square in front of the Old Zapyškis St. John the Baptist Church
Additional information
On race day, the timing system will be turned off at 12:30 PM, after which time the results will not be recorded. Participants must have a bib with a microchip attached to the front of their shirt. Starting times for different distances: 10 km - 11:00, 5 km - 11:05, 1 km - 12:45, 300 m children's runs - 13:00. Minors are the responsibility of parents, guardians, or coaches.
