The "Kaunas District Run" has already become a popular and traditional event, gathering a large number of running enthusiasts of various ages and abilities from all over Lithuania to the Pakaunė region. This year, on June 10th (Saturday) starting at 10 AM, the "Kaunas District Run 2023" will take place in Zapyškis, in the square near the Old Zapyškis St. John the Baptist Church. The running routes, stretching through picturesque areas from the Zapyškis church to the town of Kačerginė, will include 300 m and 1 km distances for children and youth, as well as 5 km and 10 km for running enthusiasts and professionals.
Highlights
- The running sponsor "Hummel" has prepared a prize fund worth 1400 euros – gift vouchers for the absolute winners of the 5 km and 10 km races (200 euros each) and for the runners-up (100 and 50 euros each).
- Winners and prize winners of all running distances will be awarded unique medals, and all participants who finish within the cutoff time will receive commemorative medals.
- Participant registration for the "Kaunas District Run 2023" will be open until June 7, 2023, at 5:00 PM on the website https://www.lbma.lt/registracija/krs/.
