On October 8, a celebration of the 70th birthday of the well-known Lithuanian running enthusiast Juozas Songaila and a Fun Run will take place in Ukmergė. The event is organized by the public institution "Smarter Step," the Ukmergė district municipality, the Sports Center, and the public institution "Maratomanija." This running festival aims to promote physical activity in the community, and J. Songaila, a proponent of healthy living, will run a distance of 7 km during the event. During the Fun Run, participants will have the opportunity to test their skills in various competitions, and a special course with obstacles will be set up.

- The anniversary event of J. Songaila and the Fun Run will begin at the Ukmergė city stadium: the marathon, half marathon, and 7 km race will start at 10 o'clock.
