Alytaus maratonas 2026

The Alytus Marathon 2026 will take place on June 14, 2026, in Alytus, around Didžioji Dailidė Lake. The event aims to promote running in Lithuania and to highlight Alytus, inviting both amateurs and professionals to compete in various distances from 500 meters for children to a full marathon. Participants can choose from several running and Nordic walking distances, and the courses are technically prepared for competitions with electronic timing. The event is organized by VšĮ "Maratomanija" and ensures safe and fair competitions for all participants.

Participants are prohibited from using transport on the course. Timing is conducted electronically with a microchip that must be attached to the front of the T-shirt. Race limits: marathon 6 hours, half marathon 3 hours, 10.6 km - 2 hours, 5.3 km - 1 hour, 2 km - 0.5 hours, Nordic walking distances - 5 hours. Start times for different distances: 12:00 for most runs, 16:30 for the 2 km run, 16:45 for the 500 m children's run. Water and nutrition stations will be set up during the event. The participant limit is 300, with various distances including children's and family runs. Registration opens on April 1 and remains open until the day of the event.
